The Spice Girls have announced the result of a "Spice City" competition where they had asked people to vote for a chance to turn their hometown into a venue for a extra reunion tour performance.
The competition winner is Toronto, Canada which narrowly beat other contenders such as Manchester (England), Rio (Brazil), Melbourne (Australia), Chicago (US), Paris (France) and Baghdad (Iraq).
It is reported that the date of the Toronto concert will be sometime in January 2008.

Spice Girls add extra tour dates
The Spice Girls have announced three extra dates to their already announced eleven date world tour.
The fabulous five will perform the extra performances in Canada, China and the US.
Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty and Baby Spice will apparently perform in Vancouver - Canada on 2 December, San Jose - USA on 4 December and in Beijing - China on 8 January and in Shanghai - China on 10 January 2008 bringing the total number of performances on their globe-trotting sprint to fourteen.

Spice Girls set to extend tour?
It is being reported that the Spice Girls are in talks to add up to 25 more dates to their world tour.
Today's Mirror newspaper in England suggests an accouncement will made within days to confirm an extension of the tour to places such as Brazil.

Victoria Beckham - Coming to America
A fly-on-the-wall documentary about Victoria Beckham entitled "Coming to America" has aired on ITV in the UK and also on US television.
The show features Victoria's plans to move to Los Angeles and includes scenes of her searching for a new house, meeting her new neighbours and shopping for a watch for husband David Beckham who has just started playing for football club LA Galaxy.
The ITV showing included a disclaimer at the beginning of the show to make viewers aware that some sequences were created for "dramatic effect" and also said that Victoria's assistant in the programme was played by an actress.
A similar one-hour show focussing on David Beckham is due to air next week.

Spice Girls Documentary
The BBC have announced that a new documentary of the Spice Girls has been commissioned. The 90-minute show is reported to have the full involement of all the girls.
It's also rumoured that the Spice Girls may record this year's Children in Need single.
Reports suggest they may record 2 brand new songs with one of them being released as a single.
