The Spice Girls have announced the result of a "Spice City" competition where they had asked people to vote for a chance to turn their hometown into a venue for a extra reunion tour performance.
The competition winner is Toronto, Canada which narrowly beat other contenders such as Manchester (England), Rio (Brazil), Melbourne (Australia), Chicago (US), Paris (France) and Baghdad (Iraq).
It is reported that the date of the Toronto concert will be sometime in January 2008.

you kknow cleveland is also a great city tohave a concert in... i mean the rock and roll hall of fame is there... and i really want to ba able to come see them!!!! i'm so sad that they aren't playing anywhere in the middle of the US

I would've prefered London, Ontario, Canada. There are alot of fans here and some might not be able to make it to Toronto due to school and what not. Not to mention for us teenagers and our protective parents who wont let us go to T.O Alone tho its understandable. If you're looking for another place in Canada PLEASE choose London we miss you alot here!
